A fusion of digital channels
Tiscali TV has been in existence since March 2007 – fitting into a position in the digital television market as an intermediary between subscription services such as the one operated by Sky and the free to air services offered by a number of other providers.
The Tiscali mixes
Tiscali’s agreements with a number of the other companies allow it to broadcast Sky Sports, Sky Movies, Setanta and 60 other channels – giving the viewer a wide and quality range of programmes to choose from. Packages are split into a number of mixes: there is the Entertainment Mix, the Music Mix, the Kids Mix and the Movies Mix. Each one designed to appeal to the individual interests of the particular viewer. In addition there is a further 350 on-demand channels available.
Television and Internet
Tiscali TV has to be purchased in parallel with their broadband Internet service, and this comes in a variety of different forms and prices, with the typical price hovering around the £15-£20 per month mark.
